I actually started on this fellow about three weeks ago. The reason he took so long was that I needed to sculpt his hair. Once I had ordered and received some Green Stuff, and made his hairpiece, I realized that I had neglected to order any paint. I got the paint earlier this week, and I finally had everything I needed to finish Shigaraki.
As I mentioned, his hair is sculpted. This is my first time sculpting anything, so any tips you have would be great to hear.
I cut up no less than 12 Lego hands to glue all over his costume. Most of them are filed down slightly differently to fit various places. They were the most time-consuming part of this figure by far.
He also has e-tape shoes, as well as the band around each hand, and the two red bands on the back of his head.
I found that paint makes eyes much easier. I no longer have to cut tiny concentric circles of tape, just cut the basic shape and then paint detail onto that.
Let me know what you think!
Also, a massive thank-you to Zazzles1.0 for all his advice on sculpting. I couldn’t have done this without you, man.
